GOLF FITNESS — PRIVACY POLICY

Pure ("we", "our", "us") is a golf fitness and training application developed by Alexandru Preda. You can contact us at: alexandru.d.preda@gmail.com
When you use Pure, we collect the following information:
Account data: Your email address and display name, collected when you create an account.
Golf profile data: Your handicap index, preferred golf clubs and distances, admired professional golfers, training goals, fitness level, and preferred training days. You provide this during onboarding and can update it in your profile.
Workout data: Records of completed workout sessions, exercise completions, RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) ratings, training streaks, and session history.
AI Caddie conversations: Messages you send to the AI Caddie, any photos you attach, and the responses generated. This data is transmitted to Anthropic to generate responses (see Section 4).
Usage data: General app usage patterns collected automatically to help us improve the experience.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Pure service:
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Pure uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase (supabase.com) — provides our database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Your data is stored on Supabase servers. See Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic (anthropic.com) — powers the AI Caddie feature. When you use the AI Caddie, the following data is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a response: your caddie messages and conversation history, any photos you attach to a caddie message, your golf handicap, and your club carry distances. This data is used solely to generate caddie responses and is not retained by Anthropic beyond the processing of each request. You will be asked for explicit consent before your data is first shared with Anthropic. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Stream (getstream.io) — powers the in-app chat feature for player matchmaking. Your user ID and display name are shared with Stream to enable messaging. See Stream's privacy policy at getstream.io/privacy-policy.
Expo / EAS (expo.dev) — used to build and distribute the app. See Expo's privacy policy at expo.dev/privacy.
The AI Caddie feature is powered by Claude, an AI service provided by Anthropic, Inc. (anthropic.com).
When you use the AI Caddie, the following data is transmitted to Anthropic:
This data is used solely to generate caddie responses. Anthropic processes this data under their Privacy Policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy. Anthropic provides equivalent privacy protections to those described in this policy.
You can stop using the AI Caddie at any time. Revoking photo library access via iOS Settings will prevent photo attachments from being sent.
Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union. We use row-level security (RLS) to ensure your data is only accessible to you. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Pure is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
